microsquirt on piaggio x9

hi
my old piaggio x9 500cc year 2004 ia not supported by piaggio anymore and the closest shot is 1.3h drive.
so i need to be able to recet and reprogram myself.
i was thinking microsquirt or something simular.
now...i am a bit lost
as far as i understand ....if i put a stand alone ecu i need to have a "data map" of the engine.
piaggio dont give it.
so what to do?

TunerStudio is a software program that enables you to program Microsquirt. You can download a demo version.
Tunerstudio gives you a number of basic settings regarding ignition timing, injection and cilinder capacity.
On Youtube Superfastmatt is the person who explains and shows how these transformations work.
It will cost you quite a lot, but when you get it working it is very rewarding.
