Who has the fastest scooter Europe‘s?
The track
The starting lane is at the Meinerzhagen airfield. For the perfect grip right from the start there will be an AntiSkid-surface. The fastest terminal speed will be taken at
meter 500.

Timing
To give as much drivers as possible the chance to show their skills and those of their scooters, starting will be paired. The width of the track is 20 meters. So that shouldn’t be a problem, but much more fun for everyone.
Any competitor of Max Speed can do as many runs as he like. The best RUN is the one that counts. So you can have opend-end high speed thrills. So you have the chance to get the right setup for the track.
Rules
Everything is about fun. So there are no regulations which cut this factor short. There is only one thing which is as –or even more- important: SAFETY! Check out the rules, which should provide a safe as well as fair event:
Riders
Everyone who likes to join the Max Speed Festival has to fill out, sign and hand out to us the “Verzichtserklärung” (disclaimer). The minimum age is 16 years. Riders which are younger than 18 years need the allowance of their parents in written form.
Clothing
We highly recommend to wear full protection biker clothing. Biker bots, gloves, trousers and jackets with protectors.
Sadly the minimum regulation is only as listed: Full face helmet, gloves, sturdy shoes, long trousers and a jacket.
Scooters
The scooters have not to run on registration plates. There is no need for lights, indicators and this stuff. What is definitely essential is the safety of the bike. Before you are allowed to start we will check:
- Smooth running steering without play
- Well opearting front and rear brakes
- No leaking engines
- Good tyres
- Smooth running throttle cable
- Properly attached body parts
- Masked up glasses
- Secured oil screws
- Maximum of 120db
- Maximum of 280cc
Classes
We are looking for the FASTEST scooter of Europe! So best of all!
To give everyone a fair chance and the possibility to compare with other tuners, we have made the decision to add some classes. So everyone who wants to show off how fast its scooter is should join the Max Speed Festival. You have the chance for some really wicked high speed thrashing, fiddle around with the setup while the five runs and you can compare with other tuners. And probably you are the lucky one with the FASTEST SCOOTER!
Classic scooters
- Class Vespa Smallframe
All Smallframe Vespas. This means smallframe bodywork as well as engine casings. No problems with cutdowns as well as motorcycle barrel conversions.
- Class Vespa Largeframe up to 199 cc
All Largeframe Vespas with the small barrel stud dimensions and up to 199 cc.
- Class Vespa Largeframe over 200 cc
All Largeframe Vespas with large barrel stud dimensions and more than 200 cc.
- Class Lambretta up to 199 cc
Alle Lambrettas with small engine casings and up to 198 cc.
- Class Lambretta over 200 cc
All Lambrettas with large engine casings.

Disqualification reservation of the Race Management Centre
The Race Management Centrereserves the right to exclude scooters which are not fulfilling the safety requirements or are not in the spirit of the event.
No registration needed this year!
