ISDN needed for ADSL?

Is it in your country necessary to have an digital telephone line (ISDN) before ADSL can be installed?

ADSL Router A for Analog
ADSL Router B for ISDN

NO it's not necesary

you must split jour tel. cable bevore the telephone

you get a splitter whit te modem

the telephone line in the middle and modem richt and telephone left.

isdn is only necessary when you want reading scooterforum.net on a 56 K modem and the same time use Your telephone

but whit adsl jou can use the internet and use your telephone on the same time.

So my Telekom really is a thief
They offer ADSL only if you have ISDN. Of course to get the ISDN you have to pay...Damn monopolists!

So? Search for another offer, cable internet is really good too.
