B big scoot Well-Known Member 29 June 2011 #1 I have a marshin 50cc 2006 year model. This thing ran good then after sitting for several months it idles fine but will not speed up. I was chiecking it and all of a sudden it spead up. I took it outside and guess what won't speed up again.

Booster Well-Known Member 29 June 2011 #2 clean the carb & air filter and install a new spark plug than put in new gas and it probably will run fine
