Hi everyone after a long break I'm back working on scooters again.

Ive assembled an engine for road use with a Stage 6 racing cylinder.
After assembling the engine it starts fine but there is no power at all, ive tried all different jetting setups for my 28mm carb. But i think my problem might be the ignition timing.

Ive posted a picture of my current timing setup. At this position my piston was at TDC,
heres a picture below.

Can someone tell me which timing mark to use and which side the left or the right? and am I using the corrent mark on the rotor.

Eoin , are you sure those light inner rotor help on street ?

in my experience its the oposite , everytime i removed weight from flywheel or instaled inner rotor on %100 stock scooter and STOCK HEAVY flywheel was better as far as eleminating rpm variations , lighter flywheel only forced me to tune the clutch higher to hold steady rpm

maybe thats why POLINI uses HEAVY 200 gram outer pulley to ADD weight

pollini sell light inner rotor then add weight ? wonder why ?
