honda sfx 50 new cdi wont start

Hello, so i just bought a new cdi for my honda sfx 50 so it wont restrict my speed, but i put it in and it doesnt work. maybe somebody knows how to fix this?

The Honda Dio has an AC-CDI.
The Honda SFX has a DC-CDI.
So, you ordered the wrong CDI and therefore the AC-CDI's of the Dio have made both a short circuit.
Probably your original CDI doesn't work either because the 15 Amp fuse is now blown.

So, replace the fuse and try it again with your original CDI because the 2 Dio CDI's are now R.I.P.

Oke, then the Dio cdi circuit was weaker than the 15 Amp fuse and the CDI circuit blew first.

Again, look for an unrestricted DC-CDI with the right connector or try to find an adapter cable to the 4+2 type connector.
Maybe your local scooterdealer is an option, in stead of the internet.
