Hi, can someone please point me in the right direction?
So I have a 125cc gy6 engine which I am trying to jet a 24mm flatslide carb on. The original cvk carb was a 24mm with 35pilot and 108main jets.
I have installed replacement manifold,
flatslide carb with 35pilot and 110main jets,
I’ve also replaced original air box with 48mm silicone elbow hose with 48mm pipercross foam pod filter.
I can’t get it to idle correctly. I’ve tried from 32 up to 40 pilot jets. I’ve had it close on 35 but sounded a little lean when de accelerating, popping slightly,
Also some time when you pull throttle it revs then sometimes stays around 4000 rpm. Sometimes the revs increase on their own no matter the jet size. I’ve loosened throttle cable right off and can see it’s not pulling on it.
Can some one point me in the right direction please? I’m close to putting old carb back on.
