Gear Up kit- Primary or Secondary?

here's the set-up -


Peugeot Speedfight 2 LC
Polini Sport 70kit
Polini Speed Control Variator
Polini 2G Clutch
Polini Kevlar Belt
Yasuni Z Exhaust
Del Orto 21mm Black Carb
Stage6 Intake System
Malossi E13 Filter
NGK Iridium Plug


Currently does 63mph TRUE SPEED.


But once it hits 45mph, it starts to rev WAY too high and struggles.

Basicalyl it needs a gear up, but what one?

I dont think it really matters, ive got a primary gear up kit in mine and its good.

Put Primary gear up malossi i used to have they are very good!!

Hey salmon try to put the stock Variator and check it if is better... Cy-Tuning was having one of this variators and his bike was going 100kh top speed and his setup was mhr replica, techigas rs, 21mm carb and the variator when he take it off his bike was a lot better. Now his bike has a top speed 110+kh and the acc is very good also, so try it if you have the time and tell me your results... (search for the threads that started from Cy-Tuning and you will understant)

Oh if you have the choice between a straight cut gear and a slanted one, choose the slanted one, my bike has straight cut and it sounds like a car in reverse.
