another upgear question

I already have the malossi 13/44 gears for my Zuma (basically a AC aerox 50). In one of the gear ratio threads, some one said that 13/44 is the biggest that will fit. I ordered a set of primary 16/40 gears (malossi 67 3677) bc they said they would fit a zuma 50. Is this not the case? I do alot of long driving and bigger gears would suit this better.

wow, how I'd love to be able to run a 16.......too fat for that. they will fit in there just fine my friend. Have no fear. you're gonna be in for one hell of time as far as top speed goes!

Let me guess becuase of the really long gears, does that mean it will take ages to reach top speed, or just a little bit more time then 13/44 gears.

str8dum will be geared high, but not as high as you may think. He's starting with 13.3:1 overall, going to 8.2:1 with 10" wheels. High, but not completely crazy.

I am doing the exact sme thing. Only I have a Corsa, O/R, 19mm Arreche, Cf reds, 13'' rims, and other stuff.
