Hi,

let me introduce myself, i am Bas, 22 years old and this is my first scooter, my 1998 Piaggio NRG MC2. I have it quitte some time now, and when i was 18 i decided to tune it up some...

My first modification was a MHR 50 with an evo cross 70 exhaust. This setup preformed quitte well. Below is a picture of my old colors.

But after some time, i wanted more power, so i bought a MHR 70
My partslist expanded and then it was a:

Malossi MHR 70
Malossi RHQ crankshaft
21mm Dell Ortho
HPI Inner rotor
Jolly Moto exhaust
MHR Overrange Set
Hebo clutch

But after some time, the color got bored, so i decided to paint it myself:

My first dyno run, 14,63HP

After some time i also bought another set of gears:

Then a year i did almost nothing, but i still wasn't happy with the color, so i decided to let it be painted.

Here are the results:

Here is my second dyno run, at meeting lelystad 2003. 17,3 HP with a standard MHR 70

Since then i had my scooter tuned by Koopmans Tuning, but don't have any dyno results. This week i have used my scooter since a year now, and it still works :) It's finished now, and i don't think i will buy more parts for it :)

If you want to see some more pics, vist http://nrg.scooterforum.net or my dutch project page.

And remember, only english because the rest i don't understand :)

so u gained around 3 hp, between your 14hp dyno run and 17 dyno run, by just adding gears??

Ofcourse not man. Gears don't give you more hp. It only moves your powercurve.

I have gained that much power by perfecting my air/fuel ratio. I have improved my airfilter and that made a huge difference.

Depending on how much rpm you make :)

On low rpm works quitte nice, but i still get's loud when you rev it high. If you want to have a even more silent solution, some people even fit a kart-filter on it on top.
