Hallo there. My name is Rasmus Bidstrup, 21 years old, born and raised in Denmark. This winter, since its so god damn long, i realised that i had to build a dragster. Since 6 years i have had a sonic, mostly used for track racing. The project is all selfmade, and the theme is "subaru rally racing". Since too many, nearly every dragster, is polished, it came down to the fact that i wanted the frame to be painted subaru blue, and the rims gold + every little detail either fabricated in polished messing/kobber to make it look like gold, or simply painted gold. Colors appearing on the bike will be Subaru blue, gold, flour. yellow, & polished aluminum.

Engine setup is a good solid old school one.

Performing at 22.25 with a smooth curve, i don't complain about the power output;).

What is this axle with thread sticking out of your cranckase?
I have never seen it before.

Also, nice work Although i don't like the frame.

Haha, its just to prevent the paint from going into the case. Therefore it has nothing to do with the engine, just a bolt with some rubber on it.

According to your opinion, i can only admire you for being honest. Thank god that everyone don't have the same taste.

Made some bar raisers as you can see. The handlebar is not the ending one, just to get a look on the aprearrence.

Well the laser pointer did agree in the fact that the setup is 100% correct. Not that i trust a wooden meassurement:D.

Be carefull that you do not accidently drop a little piece into the manifold!
I you did no see it, and it is still there the first time you start your engine.....
I was you, I would stuff it up with a wrap of paper/towel
 
why do you make everything so extremely heavy?

Total weight will still be under 40 kg, is that totally heavy?. This is not a matter of making a 20x3 mm. alu frame that look like a bicycle for children or anything like that. This is a matter of making the nicest frame/dragster, with the best handcraft possible. Remember, this is a school project in addition to my education as engine engineer. Beside that, everything is not extremely heavy, and how can you determen the weight when you don't know the size of the matterial?

Tom: If you had a knowledge inside welding, you should know that you cant make a proper welding on those mountings with the 40 mm. alu. tube. Therefore i made those adapters, which also are lighter than if it was the 40 mm. alu tube, Since i drilled it.
 
I have enough experience with aluminium that i can see that this scoot could be +/-5 Kilo lighter than it's gonna be now...

Sure, the brakes, rims, bit frame setup and overall quality you can compromise.

5 kg +- is not a whole world though, in the world of things that influence the 150 m. sprints. Its like driving with a fully racing suit or just some basic protection. Beside that, i will just rent a dwarf if the weight turns into a problem.
 
Little update. DO not comment on the frame design, because it will NOT appear this mainstream tomorrow. The buttum pares of alu. tubes is gonna be modified in a way that stretches from the mainstream alu. frame, inspired my maxiscoot.
